All funding is raised purely through our own fundraising activities or donations, and as with every charity is ongoing all year long.  The Group’s outgoings have recently exceeded any income and we therefore need money coming in. Any money you can therefore raise, no matter how big or small will help towards the ongoing costs of running the Group and maintain the key support we strive to provide for our families. 

A few ideas to get started include;

1)      If you have children attending a school or nursery, ask if they would consider holding a fund raising event for us

2)      Ask friends/family to bake some cakes & sell them during coffee break at work

3)      Hold a coffee morning at home

4)      Carry out an event and get sponsorship

If you wish to donate to our Charity this would be extremely welcome and can be arranged via Virgin Giving to Solihull Down Syndrome Support Group.
